Jenna Fischer Gets Married

There are a million hearts breaking across the US. With the impending wedding of John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer has joined him in marital bliss.

Pam. Pam from The Office is now married. What will we do? The woman typed 90 words a minute and could go from low-key and hilarious on television to low-key and hilarious in film (see Dewey Cox). And now she’s walked down the aisle with her office co-stars in attendance and gone off and married Lee Kirk, a screenwriter. Fischer and Kirk got engaged last year whilst vacationing in Europe.

For every girl weeping that Jim from The Office isn’t actually real, there are five other men matching their tears. Because Pam from The Office isn’t real. If they start offering support groups for people who have been driven to depression and madness from television characters not being real, The Office would be right up there with True Blood. You can bank on it.

In other weird news involving Jenna Fischer and Lee Kirk, I saw them in the Apple store recently. The same day as Wayne Brady. Who I asked to choke me. If you’ve ever had the idea to confess your love to a celebrity after asking a different one to choke you, I’m going to dissuade you against it.
