Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has unleashed some very surprising news following his return from the 2010 World Cup. The 25-year-old officially revealed that he’s the father of a baby boy!
The shocking news is hitting the media hard this week and has everyone wondering who the mother is.
According to PEOPLE, the identity of the baby’s mother has not been revealed. Even more shocking news: Ronaldo plans to raise the baby on his own!
“As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship.” The Portugal player made the announcement on his Facebook page.
The fact that Ronaldo (who’s been romantically connected to sextape superstars Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton) has a newborn son is one thing but to raise him on his own at such a young age with such a high profile soccer career is a little more than worrisome, if you ask us.
Ronaldo is going to have to give up his partying ways if he wants to maintain custody of his son. That means no more hotel hookups and no more late night rendezvous with random ladies.
Honestly, we’re surprised this didn’t happened sooner!

Unfortunately, I dont think he will be a good father only because he already has too much going on. He needs to grow up first. The pressure of playing professional soccer and now the pressure of being a dad will be too much for him to handle. Its a shame this happened.

umm actually i think he will make a great father. He can give the child plenty of support in his life. It was said in previous articles that his mother and two sisters will be assisting in the raising of the child due to his career. I do believe its a surrogate child.. which means cristiano wanted a child in the first place.. which is personally a wonderful thing to hear from a SINGLE man. Usually men would run away at the thought of children yet he is so happy and proud to have one. Honestly.. i don't think that raising the child on his own would make such a big deal... there are many people out their that have been raised by single parents... and those people don't regret that upbringing at all.. i don't see why this child would be any different. I think that cristiano will make a wonderful father. He is certainly mature enough. And he will be able to support his son. I am sure he will do fine. I just really want to know who the mother is... It's killing me!

I dont understand why everyone is being negative. First off Ive seen and know many men like him who become amazing father"s, actually better father"s than some of the one's married who appear to be mature. secondly, Im Portugese and I know how our Portugese families are, and he"s got his family to help and support him and knowing how a Portugese mom is , Im sure his mom will be hands on helping him along the way. be supportive or dont make comment at all.
