There comes a certain point in the celebrity culture where you’re no longer sure what’s happening. If what you see is real or fake, or why certain people are the way they are, or what the hell are you looking at?
It happened today. Because a castmate of the Real Housewives of New Jersey has introduced her lesbian lover whilst singing a song. And I watched it. For some strange reason, and I watched it. Are we that starved for entertainment that we have to write about and promote people who have clearly got their money through stripping for the mob? And watch them release singles? Seriously.
It’s like playing a game called “You know how I know you were a stripper?” You know how I know Danielle Staub was a stripper? She still has the worst taste in music in history.
It’s not like Danielle Staub doesn’t love publicity. It’s not like this song is any good. It’s not like by announcing she has a lesbian lover that she’s going to get anything but more press for herself. It’s incredibly transparent.
So you heard it here first, if you’re into people with the faces of barnyard animals and musical chops to match, watch this clip. If not, keep on living your life.
