Congratulations Brooklyn Decker! After 5 million votes, the model beat out 64 other hot female competitors in Esquire Magazine’s 60-round Sexiest Woman Alive competition. (I’m sure my nomination got lost in the mail.)
Decker received 89% of the votes that were cast, edging out fellow model Heidi Klum to snag the 2010 title this week. But Brooklyn had nothing but kind words to say about Heidi, this year’s runner up. “It’s not normal to look that good with three full-time jobs and four children,” she said. We’re inclined to agree with her!
Brooklyn was discovered at a Charlotte, North Caroline shopping mall as a teenager, beginning her modeling career as the face of Mauri Simone, a popular prom dress maker. She’s never looked back. In 2005, Brooklyn moved to New York and auditioned for the Sports Illustrated Swim Suit edition, first appearing in the magazine in 2006. She was also featured in the 2007 and 2008 issues, and was selected as the cover girl in 2010. Brooklyn Decker is married to tennis player Andy Roddick.
