This is not news. Glenn Beck running his mouth is not news. That’s all he can do is talk and run his mouth. But it’s still fun to talk about.
Glenn Beck is a publicity-grubbing, media-pandering tub of a man whose main talent is igniting publicity by pandering to a slightly racist populist fanbase. So what’s the easiest way to do that? Accuse the president of being racist – wait for it – because he won’t meet with BP execs as readily as leaders of the Middle East.
Never mind that he’s trying to draw obviously comparisons to Obama as a terrorist by insinuating he enjoys meeting with policymakers in the Middle East. Never mind that BP is a terrible company that’s poisoning our ecosystem daily, and will continue to do so unless they’re made an example of. Is there anybody who falls for this, really? Somebody who stares at their television screen going, “DERP. OBAMA MUST BE ONEA THEM RACISTS. HE MEETS WITH FOREIGN HEADS OF STATE INSTEAD OF STAYING INSIDE AND EATING CORNBREAD.”
Seriously? Seriously. I’m giving Glenn Beck a little slice of publicity here, but just so people associate him with baseless accusations of racism. That’s how Manolith rolls.
