BAWWWWW, WHY’D SHE LEAVE ME?!
Now, scientific proof of what women have been claiming for years – that men are far more susceptible to the emotional rollercoaster of relationships than women are.
For years, I’ve been told that men are far more clingy than women are. By women. Who wouldn’t just throw down the rope from their windows and let me crawl up to watch the Jetsons. But I never believed them, and just figured they were coming up with lame excuses to mask their insatiable lust for me. Turns out, according to scientists in Wake Forest, that they are absolutely accurate and therefore should try throwing the rope down one more time. For old time’s sake.
In a survey of more than 1,000 of unmarried adults between the ages of 18 and 23, Wake Forest Professor of Sociology Robin Simon challenged the long-held assumption that women are more vulnerable to being attacked by their feelings than men are. And that’d they find? That men benefit more from the emotional bond that a close relationship gives them than women do, as women are often closer to their families. Also, when relationships are severed, more men deal with the stress poorly than women.
It’s fantastic that scientists are trying to challenge the sexist preconceptions of today’s society. But these findings are suspect.
Because they’re from a woman.

This article needs an editor. Or at least a grammar checker. Way to raise the bar guys :)
