What a boring, boring trends day…then I came across this gem. If you’re a fan of watching people wig out over preconceived notions of truth–that all snakes, spiders and flying insects such as bees and wasps are evil, you’ll want to watch this over and over again.
Apparently, Hayek, Maria Bello and Maya Rudolph were doing a little promo session for the upcoming release of “Grown Ups,” the latest Adam Sandler comedy. They were on a lakeside set, prepped to answer a few questions. Before anything could really get going, a snake slithered up to the interview area to get a better look at what was going on, grab a few autographs–send Salma Hayek to an early grave.
I kept thinking that Hayek was going to go over the edge of the deck area, fortunately, she survived and simply crushed Maya Rudolph in the process, who seems to be thinking, “It’s just a snake–get the heck off me, freak.” Personally, I feel I might have the most in common with Maria Bello, who is trying to calm Hayek while becoming steeped in the realization the snake is a true celebrity stalker, coming closer and closer and closer.
