Surprise, surprise. Jordan van der Sloot is a van der Sleeze.
This guy may be one of the stupidest criminals in the history of the world. Clearly this fool had everything to do with Natalee Holloway’s disappearance and likely death, and now, in Lima, Peru, he has confessed to the murder of Stephany Flores. Flores was yet another young woman who spent a little too much time with the fleeing Dutchman.
After spending three days in Peruvian police custody, van der Sloot offered his confession, stating that Flores death was an accident, but that she was interfering in his personal affairs. Which is probably to say, she offered resistance to being sold into sex slavery.
This is just one aspect to the charges leveled against van der Sloot. The Natalee Holloway case was botched time and time again by Aruban authorities after the disappearance of the American teenager, and having no real jurisdiction, there was nothing for American authorities to attempt–that is, until the Sloot tried to extort $250,000 from Holloway’s mother to offer the “truth” about her daughter’s disappearance. Now, multiple governments want a piece of this international douche.
The suck of this: He’s confessed to multiple things in the past: Knowing where Holloway’s body was; stating that he sold her into sex slavery; he killed her, then he didn’t. No doubt this is one of the reasons that Peruvian authorities are taking van der Sloot back to the scene of the crime today, so that he might offer a reconstruction of the events and the crime scene. Clearly, if he’s full of crap, which we all know he is to some extent, authorities will know it immediately. And the Dutch authorities are already crying foul–that he won’t be able to get a fair trial in Peru.
Sorry, Holland, don’t know any other country whose majority cares about the fairness of his trial. Generally, a confession means you’re guilty.
The thing that really concerns me is that the Sloot could simply be a lackey for a serious human trafficking organization. And in terms of van der Sloot’s father’s mysterious death in February–when Paulus van der Sloot, “suddenly and mysteriously” died…I wouldn’t be surprised if he was knocked-off for knowing more than he should have. The whole thing reeks of something bigger. Hopefully investigators will dig deep, now that this punk is out of the reach of the Netherlands.
