James Bond’s Original Aston Martin For Sale

By Mark Lorenz on June 2nd, 2010

If there’s ever been a hole in your life that you’ve wanted to fill with personal belongings, now is the chance to strike. Strike hard and well. Like a secret agent.

James Bond’s original Aston Martin is going on the auction block. The car that launched the careers of Sean Connery, and uh, that dude in the air in the ejection seat has been in hiding since the 1970’s, presumably in a government vault, similar to the one at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. And if you’ve ever wanted to get laid, hard and fast, you’d do wise to put a bid down on the magnificent specimen of twisted metal.

It’s the first time the DB5 has ever appeared on the open market, as before it was part of a private James Bond collection of a rich man. And it comes complete with all the gadgets that came on the original car. A button that reveals machine guns in the headlights, an ejector seat, and revolving license plates.

Seriously. Somebody buy this who is close to Manolith, drive it to the Canadian offices and let me touch it. I’m pretty sure I’d rapture immediately, as any dude in the vicinity would of such beauty.
