Moammar Qaddafi’s Son Is A Hollywood Investor

By Mark Lorenz on May 21st, 2010

I’ve always said that people who get caught up in Hollywood politics are in good positions to be dictators. And now, they’ve got good company. The lineage of an actual dictator.

Moammar Qaddafi has been the longest serving leader of Libya, and his earliest and peak of power, he raged against the west, western influences, westerns, and Stabbing Westward. Anything having to do with the west, Qaddafi wanted to part of. And my, how the times have changed. Beyonce was under scrutiny earlier in the year for being paid 1 million dollars for singing to Qaddafi’s son, and now he’s going to invest heavily in Hollywood.

Hollywood will no longer have problems raising funds for independent films, they’ll just go straight through dictators. And see? The families of dictators just want to be totally Hollywood.

And in a fit of hilarity that’s fit for an actual movie adaptation, Saadi Qaddafi is financing the remake of a German movie. Not even an original movie, the adaptation of German movie. Called “The Experiment”.

Here’s to Hollywood – where new up-and-comers have to fight tooth and nail to get involved, but the sons of dictators can throw down a stack and get shiz done. But to be fair, to take over a country to get involved in the movie business – a little bit of overkill.
