Remember Glenn Beck? All the talk about how his ratings will compensate for the general sense of malaise his insanity has brought on the public? Well, his ratings are down.
Glenn Beck, the mightiest of the mighty. Glenn Beck, paragon of Fox News, and purveyor of the blackboard of insanity. In addition to not being able to advertise with normal companies and instead relying on cash for gold schemes and buildable bears, Glenn Beck is now slipping in the ratings. He’s still getting more viewers than his competitors combined, around 1.776 million total, but it’s part of a downward spiral that’s been continuing since last month, cutting his viewers in half.
The reasons? Well, he’s Glenn Beck. And his audience is full of old people or people with short attention spans. So they’re either dying or being hit by trucks. In addition, Glenn Beck has toned down the entertainment portion of his show, because more and more he’s fancying himself a political leader.
I’ve never told this story before, when we were starting the TV show, there were things that I did that I wouldn’t do now because I had to be more of an entertainer to get people to go what is this show at five o’clock? I never said anything I didn’t believe, but I may have said things in an entertaining fashion.
I fancy Glenn Beck a political leader. If by political leader, you mean corpulent funny-man. He’s the modern day Fatty Arbuckle, if Fatty Arbuckle just complained on the radio and damaged the national debate.

How does speech damage debate? Free speech is free speech, if you do not like his politics then you have your right to post your opinion. But what makes your thoughts more pathetic is that at least beck cites his sources. Fatty Arbuckle really?

Yes, free speech is free speech. I champion Beck's right to say whatever he wants to say. However he ought to be held accountable for much of the filth that spews from his mouth. His declining viewership will suit me fine. consequences must always be paid.

Lorenz = Jealous Lots of people tuned into Beck in January (new president takes office) and ratings soar - now things back to normal and Beck's ratings clobbering the competition - and the whole rides over? Nice try.

beck is like having that friend which always spouts worse case scenarios and never has anything good to say or add to a conversation. He will fade away into the masses sooner or later, and everyone will forget him, even his fans who have the total IQ of Obamas daughter, who glenn decided to rip on this morning haha...he cant win a debate with an adult, so he is trying children now, i still like Malia's chances at out thinking him though. I hope beck sticks around for a long time, because with people like him and hannity doing what they do, and pushing the republicans further and further right, its all good for the rest of us people who actually live on a place I like to call earth.
