I’m sure the real King Henry the VIII is, but the fictional one is as well.
If this is true, that’s an amazing thing to be doing on a flight. Many times have I wanted to set the staff on fire, but never once have I wanted to call them racial slurs. Jonathon Rhys Meyers is dealing with the rough side of fame. An actor who rose to the top in varied fare such as Velvet Goldmine, Bend it like Beckham, and most recently, the Tudors, he’s had stints in rehab for at least three times, resulting from a depression from his mother dying. Which is completely understandable. I’d be drinking and depressed if my mother died. Love ya, ma.
I can even understand getting incredibly drunk before flying, because – come on. It’s an airline. Chances are that they’re going to screw you over somehow on the flight, you might as well be drunk while they’re doing it.
What’s more impressive? JRM was drinking at 7 am. 7 am. He was so drunk and unruly at 7 am, that United Airlines banned him from flying. Before he called someone by a racial slur. So he was so drunk and unruly BEFORE spouting off racial slurs that United decided to ban him, and him calling someone the N-word was the icing on the cake.
Drinking. Because Jonathon Rhys Meyers says it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
