Lawrence Taylor Arrested

By Mark Lorenz on May 6th, 2010

Tragic news for anyone who’s a fan of humanity. Lawrence Taylor, star Hall of Fame football player, has been arrested for raping a teenage girl.

Lawrence Taylor changed the way football was played, by playing a fast, reckless defense. He was insanely strong and quick, and his leadership on Defense led the Giants to two Super Bowl championships, countless Pro-Bowls, accolades from John Madden and anybody else who knows the game of football and a career almost as long and storied as Jerry Rice’s. Which is saying something. Unfortunately, his on-field recklessness transferred to off the field, as well. He became as well known for his off-field drinking and drug abuse as he was on the field for pummeling the hell out of Quarterbacks. As a result in later years, he was arrested for crack possession and spent a time wrestling in the WWF.

But between hit-and-runs, drug possession, and reckless behavior, he somehow managed to clean up his act, get married a third time, and refocused his efforts on a career providing voiceovers and acting in feature films and videogames. But he’s now presently being accused of raping a 16-year-old runaway who was dragged to his Rockland County hotel room by a violent pimp.

Taylor maintains his innocence and the fact that he’s never seen the girl before. But nothing is as damaging to a person’s reputation as a rape accusation. Especially one with an underage girl. Sad.
