Taliban Claims Responsibility For Times Square Bombing

Only one problem – authorities think it couldn’t be them. In general, the Taliban seem to be a pretty lazy organization.

Authorities are reviewing tapes recovered from near the scene, and have come to suspect a white suspect in his 40′s. I mean, come on, claiming the responsibility for an action almost brought to fruition by a crazy white guy? Why would you latch onto that, Pakistani Taliban? Are you also going to claim responsibility for every action of the Westboro Baptist Church? Or crazy polygamists in the hills of Utah? Or NBC executives?

International terrorism seems to be a pretty lucrative racket. With poppy trading, opening schools for soldiers, pooling your money to shoot down helicopters – you need to be a go-getter. Or at least know how to work with your hands. So it’s weird that the Taliban would claim that the almost-bombing in Times Square is due to their planning when authorities say that they lack the global infrastructure to carry out a strike.

Doesn’t that seem lazy? And a little lame? Like the Taliban are sitting on their couches, trying to cast spells on people because they got pushed over in the hallway?

That being said, the Taliban, in a recently uncovered tape, were promising suicide attacks on the US, which – if it occurred — would mark the first time the Pakistani Taliban struck outside of Southeast Asia.

  1. The latest report have the FBI looking for a Paki. The vehicle was purchased from Craig’s list by a Paki, who left an email trail using a Paki name. In the three weeks since purchased all the Identifying VIN’s , but one hidden one were remove. The Paki Taliban claimed responsibility for they near hit!

In short if it walks like duck and quakes like a duck, shoot it, cause there’s no reasoning with the 15th century

  2. wow, what hole in the ground did you just crawl out of Mr. M? I believe folks from Pakistan are called Pakistani, not “Paki”, and I’m pretty sure they’re not all blowing up cars in NYC.
