Blind Man Denied Entrance To Restaurant Because of Gay Dog

Annnnnnd…..I couldn’t stop laughing. Literally. Could not stop.

A restaurant in Australia has had to offer a written apology and a cool 1400 dollars to one of their customers because they wouldn’t let his dog inside. Now you might say, that seems like a steep amount to pay out to somebody because you wouldn’t let their canine wander around rows of tables. And you’d be right. Except for the reason they wouldn’t let the dog inside.

They thought the dog was gay.

Now, barring the obvious questions – like how’d they know the dog was gay, why would they possibly assume something like that about an animal, and how did they think a gay dog would affect people eating at a restaurant – the man was blind. He was a blind man, very obviously going into a restaurant with a guide dog. How on earth could you confuse that with a “gay dog”? How? It boggles the mind. When asked about the incident, Thai Spice’s owners had this to say.

The staff genuinely believed that Nudge was an ordinary pet dog which had been desexed to become a gay dog.

What is this? I don’t even. This is just too weird to be fake.

  1. Well, it’s fairly obvious to me.

The blind man probably said, ‘he’s a guide dog,” which, if you speak quickly with some accents, sounds like ‘he’s a gay dog’.
