Noah’s Ark Found – Details of the Discovery!

By Mark Lorenz on April 27th, 2010

It’s like an Indiana Jones movie, except in real life. And instead of Shia LaBeouf, they have a team of evangelical archeologists. Which is either really cool, or vaguely creepy.

Never mind that evangelical archeologists sounds like a movie that’d be on Cinemax late at night, they are claiming that they are 99% sure that Noah’s Ark has been uncovered on top of Mount Ararat. In Eastern Turkey. Because they’ve found wood on top of the mountain. Here’s a hint – I’m sure if you spend enough money looking for it, you can find wood anywhere. And then attribute that wood to things that don’t necessarily exist. Such as, “Hey, this is alien wood. From an alien ship that was made out of 4,000 year-old oak trees. Don’t believe me? Give me grant money, we’ll prove you wrong.”

Dating has shown that the wooden structure found is 4800 years old. The archeologists have ruled out it being a settlement, as one has never been found above 3500 meters. The wood was found at 4000 meters. It also supposedly has different compartments to house animals. And the team that discovered it is feeling pretty confident that their wood is iconic wood.

It’s not 100 per cent that it is Noah’s Ark but we think it is 99.9 per cent that this is it.

Yeah, but that .1 percent might kill you in the end.

Yeah man. Saw a really interesting documentary on this. Ancient Armenian texts, and lore have claimed to have seen it when they would climb the mountain in the summer seasons. That it was of epic proportion, yet had split in half. Kind of like the Titanic, I guess. Anyway, my understanding is it costs some serious "sway money" to be granted permission to lead any kind of contemporary expedition.
