In a survey that is in no way at all biased towards Apple technology, apparently women are more likely to date men who own iPhones.
Then again, men who own iPhones run the gambit from emaciated hipsters on fixed-gear bikes with ironic mustaches, to professionals who just haven’t switch over to the Google Nexus One. But still. iPhones make women want to date you? I refuse to believe this hypothesis. If that was the case, if this were actually truth, the guys at the Genius bars in Apple stores would be swimming in poon. Just drowning in it. But those guys don’t seem like they’d get along with houseplants, much less members of the opposite sex.
Unsurprisingly, the survey was done by an online retailer, iPhones4u. Also unsurprisingly, there’s been a controversy about the survey, as in why would women go for a man based off of a phone? Is she a technology hooker? A spy trying to capture new technology under wraps, trying to make people leave their phones in bars in Redwood? Why on earth would a woman care about the kind of tech a man carries?
Unless she’s dating Batman, chances are that it doesn’t really matter. Then again, I have an iPhone. Let’s see if this theory tracks.
