Ashley Dupre has become a very recognizable name since sparking one of the most controversial sex scandals of the decade.
Back in March of 2008 Ashley Dupre (better known then by her call girl name, Kristen) became the headline of every media outlet in America after it was revealed she had been engaging in intimate interactions with the Governor of New York Eliot Spitzer. The news shocked the entire entertainment industry and destroyed Eliot Spitzer’s career. For Ashley Dupre, however, it had the opposite effect.
Two years after the infamous scandal, the self-proclaimed singer has definitely capitalized on her fifteen minutes of fame. Not only has she recorded numerous songs but the 24-year-old former call girl now has her own sex column for the New York Post.
Most recently, Ms. Dupre has earned even more cash after agreeing to pose nude for Playboy. The new photos are sparking media interest and are featured in the May 2010 issue, where Ashley reveals her struggles after becoming the single most popular call girl in the world.
“There’s no way to describe being hunted, humiliated, stalked and all that,” she says. “I wish it upon no other human being.”
In the interview, Ashley also reveals her regret for hurting Spitzer’s wife and how she felt after the scandal rocked the media:
“I saw the hurt in his wife’s eyes,” she recalls. “I felt as if I had jumped off a building. I couldn’t breathe. I was dead.”
She may have felt dead at the time but Ashley looks very much alive in these photos!
