They’ve Made A Mean Girls For Nintendo DS??

By Mark Lorenz on April 12th, 2010

Really? They’re releasing a Mean Girls videogame on the Nintendo DS? This makes me excited. Not because I own a Nintendo DS, or plan on owning one, but that means they can start porting over movies that have no business being videogames into videogames.

The real hilarious story is that they’ve cropped Lindsay Lohan out of the poster image that they’ve put on the game box. Which means one thing – Lindsay Lohan is so unviable career-wise, she can’t even appear on the box of a videogame, for fear that it’ll turn kids from nice Nintendo DS playing benign children, into coke-wild cockteases who will most likely do things for money and casting directors. Hopefully, they will port other Lindsay Lohan movies six years after the fact. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and I Know Who Killed Me would be awesome to have, especially if they were done in a campy way. Where you know who killed you, and keep playing despite the fact that the only way somebody watched those movies is if they were young and drunk – or Lindsay Lohan.

But this hopefully means other movies will start making an appearance on videogame systems. Specifically, comedies. Like, I want to play a videogame adaptation of Shaun of the Dead right now. That would make not only my life, but my year.
