I always knew Ronde was the better twin.
No, I’m not gonna jump on the “I’m sure Tiki is leaving his wife for the 23 year-old Traci Lynn Johnson” train, even if that is the case–I haven’t heard the man say it…yet. However, we do know that Tiki is separated from his wife of 11 years, who also happens to be eight months pregnant.
Most media outlets are speculative that Tiki has ditched his wife Ginny, for the former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson, but I’m gonna take a different route. I’m gonna say that if he was playing Tiger with TLJ, that Ginny kicked him out. Regardless, that million dollar, Tiki Barber smile won’t sell like it used to, will it? Either way, his wife is eight months pregnant with twins, and he’s not by her side.
I hate to throw the guy under the bus, because you can rest assured there are many more variables involved, but I can’t help but remember the way he left the NY Giants, and the smack he talked about them the following season. If I remember correctly, and I do, he was throwing coaches and teammates under the bus for lack of ability, before deciding he would retire from the organization and football, and hop into the more glamorous field of TV, as an NBC analyst/color commentator/news-type. Yeah. Seriously. NBC. I can’t imagine complaining about playing for any team in the NFL, and then going to NBC.
Seriously, Tiki. If the rumors are true, you need to man up and stick with your current team–a.k.a. your wife and kids. Please don’t go all Billy Crudup on us!
The good news for Ginny Barber? The season after Tiki retired, the Giants went on to win the Super Bowl.
