Something that’s interesting about the Bible is the branches of archeology that have been devoted to it. As in, what’s been found relating to the Bible. As in, not much as been found archeologically compared to what is mentioned in The Bible. But sometimes, the world’ll surprise you. Or specifically, branches of the Knights Templar. They’ll always surprise you, because they’re Dan Brown villains or briefly mentioned in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
But apparently, they’re also very real. They’re not only real, but they’re hoarding artifacts. Including a crucifix nail from the time of Jesus. The discovery is prominent because not very many nails have been found that can be traced back to crucifixions, and Jesus, what else do you need to be impressed? This is a nail from the time of the Romans. Guarded by a secret organization called the Knight Templar. Why aren’t you out purchasing the film rights to this right now? Go. Get out the door. Write that screenplay you’ve always wanted to write about ancient nails.
