Pete Rose, aka Charlie Hustle, stopped by the Howard Stern show today with his 29 year-old gal-pal, Kiana Kim. Rose, who is pushing those years up around 70, was there to talk about baseball, gambling on baseball, how he makes his living and a whole bunch of other stuff Howard Stern didn’t care about…because Kiana Kim was in the room.
If you’re not familiar with Kim, she’s a Korean transplant who was raised in Los Angeles, educated at Arizona State University and eventually became a professional flight attendant for Korean Air. Well, a flight attendant until someone said, “You should take your clothes off, and make loads of cash for it.” Which is the first thing they teach in Freshman orientation at ASU.
After gaining some fame and notoriety for posing in Playboy, apparently she realized she never got enough love from Daddy, and went the route of Pete Rose? Yeah, I’m trying to figure it all, too. I think we can all agree that “Charlie Hustle” will no longer suffice. It’s gotta be Charlie Hustler.
Sure, Bud Selig is a doof, but Pete Rose has done everything possible to avoid any grace that Major League Baseball might ever extend. Obviously, I would never want to trample on a matter of the heart, Rose finding the love of his soon-to-be septuagenarian life, but maybe Rose has finally had enough. Maybe it’s time to rub MLB’s face in the mud for making their own mistake. This seems to be the kind of stuff that drives Selig nuts–therefore, I love it! And if you’re a fan of baseball, you should, too.
