Why? He seems like a good guy. A perfectly good guy who contributes to the economy. By spending close to two grand at a bondage-themed nightclub with dancers who simulate lesbian sex….are you surprised? He’s a Republican. They have to get their rocks off somehow.
And apparently they do it by writing off expensive dinners at lesbian bondage nightclubs as business expenses. Right here in LA!! Which would make sense, if you were writing a book on lesbian bondage nightclubs instead of holding up progress in Washington and scoring free meals whilst doing so. Now the GOP is up in arms that the Republican National Committee would cover Michael Steele’s traveling costs and sex-parties – all in the name of attracting donors to keep themselves in power. Because donors want to be lavished on so they can give money. You know. Lavished. With lesbian sex. Also, trying to get private jets to fly him places.
A lot of people want Michael Steele to step down, which would be a massive blow in the face of a crucial election for the Republican party. Also, it’d be a massive blow to anyone who enjoys laughing at Michael Steele which is millions of people. Seriously. The guy is like your little brother, a contrarian who just blossomed into a position of power because they needed a black guy. Desperately.
Good riddance.

Yes, he does seem to be a nice guy, but he's also the head of a national commitee. That commitee has authorized funds for things the RNC is supposed to be opposed to. Why then does he not step down voluntarily? Instead, a lower ranking staffer gets canned. How can the GOP tout itself as moral and ethical in light of things like this?
