Yes, the Olive Garden. It’s that place you bring your uncle to when he’s in town visiting from Sicily. It’s the only place in the neighborhood where you can enjoy casual Italian-American cuisine with real “hospitaliano.” What’s hospitaliano you ask? I have no idea. But the people at the Olive Garden do. When you’re there, you’re family, so I assume they’ll give you some sort of explanation on that authentic turn of phrase.
Authenticity may not by the Olive Garden’s strong suit, but the place is really really good and distributing boatloads of free salad and bread to its patrons. Think about this for a second.
