We all knew it’d come to this, but we didn’t know when it would happen. And it happened way earlier than expected. Chris Brown is begging to remain relevant. For his fan base to mobilize. Through the internet. And they better do it, or….you’ll know.
Chris Brown was a pop singer, most notable for his dancing abilities and being completely inoffensive to his teenage female fanbase. And casual music fans. He was heralded as the next coming of the triple threat, an entertainer who can sing, dance, and act. Unfortunately between his auto-tuned songs, and terrible acting, all he could pass himself off for was a decent dancer, and he let the media machine take care of the rest. Unfortunately, the machine turned on him when he decided to beat another of their darlings to the point of having a restraining order filed against him. And now he’s taken to the internet to plead with his fans to help drag him back into the spotlight. Specifically, saynow.com, a website I’ve never heard of until now.
Unfortunately, there’s no way Chris Brown is going to recover. The next prominent movement he’ll make is on a VH1 show in about 5-8 years. One that is either devoted to people who used to be celebrities trapped in a small space, or celebrities trapped in a camp.
Check it out on saynow.com.
