If you ever want to be terrified, all you need to do is read a book with sexual statistics. Do you have six friends? It’s time to play a game called “Guess who got the herp.” If you can’t guess correctly, you’re probably that friend.
Remember those slides they used to show you in health class that ran down all the terrible things that’d happen if you slept with a lot of people? You might’ve passed around a glass infected with water from Cheetos or looked at slides of people’s genitals that vaguely resembled garden vegetables? You don’t need any of that. Reuters just released their annual GOOD GOD WHAT AM I DOING OUT AT NIGHT study to terrify you into a life of celibacy and nunneries. And according to the study, 16% of Americans between the ages of 14 and 49 have the herp. Have you seen High School Musical? There were more than six kids in that. Did you see the A-Team? Same thing, really.
More than 80% of the people who have herpes don’t know that they’re infected.
As always, what you can take away from all of this? You need to wrap it up before you smack it up. Always wear a condom, people. Always. Especially if you have more than six friends.

Of course, a condom won't protect you much from herpes. Maybe that's why so many people are getting it - they think a rubber will protect them...

One in Six Americans Ages 14 to 49 Has Herpes. CDC reports that African-American women have the highest prevalence of the disease. One of my friends who is dating someone on a herpes dating site HerpesLoving,com said the number increased 1/3 over 2008. But I am not very interested in online dating at this moment.
