Liz Cheney‘s been in the news recently for some controversial statements she made regarding some Department of Justice officials. My question is this — who gives a flying rip about what Liz Cheney says?
Liz Cheney is talking, naming people on the Department of Justice as terrorist sympathizers, which is interesting. Because she got her first serious job with the government, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, merely because father’s influence and power CREATED IT FOR HER.
But beyond that, it’s not like she’s got a modicum of political experience. If she was being hired on television shows to talk about what it’s like walking around looking like a woman who constantly needs to wear a helmet, that’d be fine, but probing the daughter of the former Vice President on political affairs is like hiring me to teach a class on history, because I knew a guy who talked about it.
Is Liz Cheney hiding some deep philosophies? A cure for eyes that are way too close together? Maybe she’s going to call for everyone to be locked up and label everyone a fascist terrorist sympathizer?
Who cares? She’s Liz freaking Cheney. She’s filling up the empty spaces of the 24/7 news cycle. And trying to connect the dots in her head. And formulate actual opinions of her own. So you shouldn’t.
