Best Actor 2010 – Jeff Bridges

The Dude ABIDES!!!

The Best Actor of 2010: Jeff Bridges.

No complaints to the Academy on this one! I could not be more excited to write that Jeff Bridges has been honored as the Best Actor of 2009, for his role in “Crazy Heart.” Kudos to the entire cast of this feature–the chemistry between Bridges, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Colin Farrell and Robert Duvall was potent.

In “Crazy Heart,” Jeff Bridges once again proved that he was a formidable foundation on which to build a cast, and that he simply works well with anyone and everyone.

His acceptance. Was. Incredible. It’s always awesome to see that some celebrities might actually be as cool as the characters they portray. Now to fire up the Bluray player, and let an encore rip in the form of “The Big Lebowski.”

Many congratulations to Jeff Bridges!

  1. While the acting was superb and the music was great, my friends and I thought the movie was slow and boring. Too bad. But love Jeff Bridges ever since “Star Man”.
