Bret Michaels and Miley Cyrus Get. It. On.

By James Sheldon on March 3rd, 2010

It won’t be long before it’s obvious to everyone. Disney was the vehicle.

In the meantime, maybe someone can explain to me why the creepy, 46-year-old, Botoxed rocker Bret Michaels is singing some compromising suggestions of sweetness to the 17-year-old Disney idol, Miley Cyrus?

I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a million times: there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Clearly, such has to be the case, when a glam rocker clinging the thin thread of fame offered by a few ’80s hits and reality TV, would sing a duet with a 17-year-old MINOR, possessing lyrics that state:

We both know better than this
Still we can’t resist
Slowly get undressed.

You got that, Miley? Slowly. Don’t even think about rushing this moment of creepiness! According to Michaels, Miley approached him about offering background vocals, and there’s no inappropriate motive behind it. “It has no reference to her and I…I just thought it was a beautiful song, that’s all.”

Sure, Jerry Lee Lewis, we hear what you’re sayin’! You’re an equal opportunity lover, you’re just not into Miley. But a beautiful song? C’mon, bro. Sounds like a canned B-side from Open up and say…Ahh!.

come on, you're just jelous! Bret is one of the MOST TALENTED, and GREATEST people you would EVER want to meet, and the way he explained it is exactly the way it happened. The song IS BEAUTIFUL, and it isn't even a duet, Miley only sings back up, Bret had written and recorded the song LONG before Miley became a part of it, it's a BEAUTIFUL AMAZING song and Bret is talking to the woman in the song, NOT to Miley. And Believe me, Bret can have ANY woman he wants, and he DEFINATELY isn't interested in a 17 year old girl! Get a life!
