Looking for video of a killer whale killing his trainer? Can’t find it anywhere, huh? Totally annoying.
It is uncertain whether or not a few video cameras continued to roll during the orca attack that claimed the life of Sea World trainer, Dawn Brancheau; however, you can see footage of the trainer working with the killer whale, Tilikum, just moments before the attack in this home video.
It’s legit, unlike many other sources fronting hackers, and looking for a way to corrupt your machine and your ability to watch people die horrible deaths. Unfortunately, if you’re looking for a whale mercilessly thrashing a human body, and keeping it submerged to the point of death–sorry, can’t help you out. Sure, my curiosity is as morbid as the next person’s, but I really don’t need to see this one.
If video does exist of the actual incident, you can bet your bottom dollar that Sea World has confiscated it, secured it and negotiated a healthy sum of hush money for the individual(s) who captured it.
An autopsy has revealed what was initially suspected: a combination of traumatic injuries and drowning resulting in the death of the highly-experienced whale trainer, Brancheau. While everyone is scrambling to find video of the attack itself, it is somewhat encouraging to know that someone may have more discretion than say, NBC, when they posted video of Nodar Kumaritashvili’s fatal luge crash, moments after his death. Then again, someone also may be holding out for the highest bidder.
