It’s February 23, 2010, and that means IHOP Free Pancake Day is in full effect. Just go to any participating IHOP location, and you’ll be treated to a complimentary short stack of buttermilk pancakes. That’s three free pancakes just for walking through the door.
The free flapjacks are all for a good cause too. The IHOP National Pancake Day promotion was created to support the Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit organization that improves the lives of kids by raising money for more than 170 Children’s Hospitals throughout the country. The hospitals in the Children’s Miracle Network treat more than 17 million kids each year.
IHOP National Pancake Day is in its fifth year, and this year’s goal is to get the five-year donation total up to $5 million. So if you have an urge for three free pancakes anytime from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., go show your support for IHOP Free Pancake Day 2010. You’ll get your free short stack with no strings attached, but if you want to support the children, donate a couple bucks anyway. You cheap bastard.
