Oh, Hanson fans, I will concede that it’s somewhat impressive that they write their own songs and music… But then again, so does Nickelback. Funny to read that vehement defense of the Backstreet Boys. Am I in junior high again? Even their fans knew it was just TigerBeat with a soundtrack. Much as I didn’t care for ‘N Sync either, at least they had charisma. Whatever happened to the gay guy they planned to send into space as a civilian? How does this stuff happen?

I remember I was in my early teens when Backstreet Boys was a big hit and by the time I was 17, nobody listened to it anymore. I always hated them although many other girls liked them. They were disgusting doing nothing but showing their bodies, which weren´t that good anyway, and telling how much they loved the girls who bought their records. As for Christina Aguilera, she used to look good, but now she´s chubby. That photo that was supposed to represet her now, covers her weight-gain. She isn´t that skinny and has changed just as much if not more than Britney Speers.

It’s awesome that you knocked Hanson. They have a bigger following than anyone can say about you. Actually, they have a bigger, more devoted fan-base than any band, so really smart move making them out to be talentless girls. Have you heard their “attempts at making music?” Because they rock. They kick ass. Why don’t you go ahead and do some journalistic research and have a listen to their newer stuff. I guarantee (if you can be honest instead of simply write what you think people want to hear)that you will *at least* respect their music.

Not sure what your definition of a “band” is, but Hanson is a band in every aspect of the word. They write their own songs and play their own instruments,and have amazing voices. Their harmonies are always spot on, even back in 1997. None of their female fans thought they were girls! They do not “attempt to perform and make music on a regular basis”..they actaully do tour and perform regulary and make amazing music! They worked hard to start their own record label and work hard everyday. It’s unforunate that people like you discount them for all that they do. Your ego is just too big to come out and say “I was wrong about what I thouht about Hanson.” They have always shown so much grace and class in every situation/interview, and people like you just inspire them to be even better. They’ll continue being an incredible band for a long time to come, they’ve been doing it for like 18yrs now! You can continue attempting to write articles and maybe get by doing what you do, writing crap articles like this one for maybe the next year. Good luck.
