Golf Swing

Not having a good golf swing is like admitting to the world that you can’t get it up without a healthy dose of Viagra. However, while you can keep the Viagra habit to yourself (for the most part) just about anyone on the green within eyeshot of you will know if your golf swing is lame.

So what can you do to improve your swing? Well, if you think reading this article is going to help you then you’re in bigger trouble than you think!

Learning and putting into practice the perfect golf swing is the goal of thousands of professional golfers the world over, much less the weekend golf enthusiast. However, there are some golf tips that will help you out…should you seek to correct your lameness (and you should).

First of all – get yourself to a driving range and get lots of practice. If you want to get better, you’re going to have to get out there and just do it. You can shell out for some personalized golf instructions from a local golf teacher, or invest in some sort of fancy pants golf swing analyzer, but at the end of the day nothing will help you more than taking action.

Get a buddy to help you out. Remember that even Tiger Woods had someone teach him the ropes at some time, and whoever it was probably wasn’t as good of a golfer as Tiger turned out to be, so don’t judge your teacher solely on their past accomplishments. Can they help you? Are they cool? Do you think you can learn from them? Can you pay them in beer? These are the serious questions to ask.

What you focus on will improve, and with a little bit of guidance, effort and a healthy dose of luck you too will have a golf swing that won’t totally embarrass you the next time you take to the golf course.
