Most people like the New Orleans Saints organization. The ownership is respected for keeping the team in New Orleans after a devastating natural disaster. This season makes for a wonderful and touching story. There are many good players on the 2010 New Orleans Saints team as well.

The problem that the vast majority of the people have with the New Orleans Saints is the fans. For the most part they are utterly classless and needlessly arrogant.

Congrats, you won the Superbowl. People WANT to be happy for you but any goodwill is trampled on by the classless deeds of many of the fans. It is not necessary to taunt. It is not necessary to behave in a mocking or aggressive manner. It is a sign of weakness and immaturity and frankly it is sickening.

Many people are saying that the ignorance of the fans deserves a pass based on the fact that they have never been in this situation before and to a degree I understand this, however, I think that because of the years of futility the fans should be MORE humble and MORE respectful because they, of all fans, know what it's like to be on the short end of the stick. Instead many of them are so rude and abrasive that it's nauseating.

The Saints are a wonderful NFL franchise and I salute them for making it to the Superbowl and actually being victorious. The fans, however, should take a page from the actual Saints coaches and players and be graceful in victory.
