I carry two phones at work, the boring work phone and my iPhone. Got in the truck at work, padded my pockets to make sure all was there and the iPhone was gone! I looked, and there it was, on the pavement, in the path of the tires. I snatched it up, checked it, all was good. Put the iPhone in other pocket and backed out. I swear I heard a sob coming from the work phone and I have been suspicious of it ever since. I do believe there is some jealousy there..

This one time, I was walking by dog and we stopped so he could handle his business. Little did I know the phone fell out of my pocket and landed in prime real estate for pooping action. 10-sec later when I go to grab his fertilization my phone is covered in doo doo. Top that!

When I first got my iPhone, I immediatly put a case on it. A few weeks later I was messing around with my phone and took the case off and kept it off for the remainder of the day. That night, I was pulling it out of my pocket and it started to fall, so I tried to kick it to either (1) kick it back up into my hands (Pele style) or (2) at least break its fall. I ended up kicking into the couch across the room. No scratches. Cover went back on after that.

I butt-dialed my bat-shit crazy GF one time too many. The last time, she walked over to me, pulled me off the couch, yanked the iPhone out of my pocket, and threw it against the wall. Needless to say we are no longer together (she dumped me shortly thereafter).

I got so drunk in Cancun, that while I was trying to take pics in the balcony of my room with drunk friends, I dropped the phone from the 12th floor....next thing i heard was a big bang...and that is the end of my iphone! :(

I'd love this for my husband. He's pretty rough on his Iphone. On Halloween, while trying to get the kids in our car to bring them over their Grandparents house, my husband put his phone on the roof of the car. We went to the Grandparents and later that day, when we pulled into the driveway, we found the phone at the top of the street, ran over by a number of cars. This is a guy who could really use something to protect the new Iphone that I got him for Christmas. Thanks so much.

Probably the most abuse it has ever taken at one time was about a week before I got married. My now husband called me when I was driving. I don't even remember what he said, but I was already so stressed out that whatever it was pushed me to the breaking point. I slammed my phone into my steering wheel as hard as I could three times (really out of character, I'm usually very passive). It made me feel better instantly! Amazingly, the phone still works fine:)

I picked it up in a flash second and turned it on to see if it still worked. It worked still but it got scratched a little tiny bit on the top. I cried a little bit.

I was walking down Addison on Halloween evening (morning? it was like 4:00 am) dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Some taxi was pissing me off and honking at me so I decided to be b*tchy and walk really slow across the street and pull out my phone to start texting, like I wasn't paying attention. Well...I tripped pretty hard core and tumbled to the street twisting my ankle to the point where I needed to be carried home. Serves me right.

I actually don't have an iPhone, although I do have an iPod touch, which I don't know if the case would fit? Doesn't matter though I'd still love the card and keep the case for later. But scince I don't have a horror story, my favorite Apple product is the lowly Shuffle, it's extremely portable, great for so many situations, and inexpensive enough to not have to freak out about losing. Although I do think Apple ruined it with the newer models.

We were at Boston Logan Airport going through Security and the metal detector. My husband went through having forgotten that the phone was in his pocket. This prompted a full body search as they set his phone on top of his carry-on, tickets, etc on a nearby table. The phone slipped off and fell on the floor, where it was promptly kicked, stepped on and tripped over before someone picked it up, kept walking and disappeared into the distance! Ah the delightful conclusion to a wonderful 4-day getaway!

We went to Epcot and my iPhone fell out of my purse and into the public toilet too. Unfortunatley a lot of what was in my purse went in the pot, including my credit cards and money, so I fished it all out. This is a story I was thinking only my immediate family would have to endure. Nothing has happened to my iPhone yet, but I did have a horror story with my iPod nano. I had my iPod in my back pocket and was listening to music while I was getting ready for an audition when my favorite song caused me to twirl around. Well, my player immediately flew out of my pocket and straight into the open toilet bowl. It was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ok, you asked for it. I dropped my phone in toilet. Yes, I had already done my business, I flushed and my phone fell off my jeans and into the toilet. For one horrifying moment, I thought that it was going down the drain. I managed to grab it out and it worked but then I had to clean it. Yuck.

I've never had a mishap myself, but my good friend did throw his iPhone at the tv once -- not at Pat Robertson (though I wouldn't have blamed him one bit), but during a heated tennis match he was watching (and getting frustrated by!). All ended well though - the phone remained intact, and my friend's favored player ended up winning. :)

I am not allowed to have an iPhone because I had a nice phone once, and I guess I left it in my pocket, and even though I checked my pockets before I put the pants in the washer, I guess the phone had already fallen out and gotten mixed in with the other clothes.
