Shocking, I know.
It’s terribly disconcerting that there could be any kind of drama on the set of American Idol. I mean, that show makes boats filled with trucks full of money, everybody is bound to get along with each other, right? Wrong. Apparently, there was some sort of on-set argument between Simon Cowell and Ellen Degeneres, presumably over whose haircut best suited a lesbian lifestyle. Cowell felt hers did, and was unaware of the irony brought by his bitchy demeanor, and man-boobs. Hence a fight broke out.
Actually, Cowell arrived an hour and a half late to the taping, which Ellen was understandably pissed about. They got into a fight on set, and Ellen requested that bosses start looking for his replacement right away.
I’m actually interested to see what will endure better, the American Idol brand, or the new X-Factor Cowell’s trying to start up. I don’t think he’s got as much pull here in America, quite frankly, as long as shows like, “Dancing With B-Listers” or “America’s Got Juggling Bitches,” still make a killing, minus any sort of presence from Simon Cowell. So I’m thinking, just because everyone knows the American Idol brand, I’d be insanely surprised if Cowell’s new venture overthrows it.
