Every year a news or weather hottie skips across Kansas City.

In 2005-06 the hottest newswoman in Kansas City was Shelly Slater who is now in Dallas. 2006 Saw the weather woman Casey Curry leave Kansas City for Houston. 2007 had Rhiannon Ally came to a local, but she left in 09. 2007 or 08 saw reporter Leslie Carto leave as well. 2007 saw Karli Ritter come and replace Casey Curry. 2008 had Stephanie Hockridge come to town. She just left KC for Arizona. 2009 saw Amber Jenne replace Rhiannon but she left too this year. 2010 had Kerri Stowell and Sloane Heller in KC take over as the hottest looking women on local news.

Then there is Amy Anderson who has been on TV since 2003. She is decent looking.

Now in 2011 we just had Meredith Hoenes leave KC news for Columbia, Missouri. But we have Abbey Eden and others.

So many people come and go I lose track. Michelle Rooney looks like she left local news. Amy Hawley is anchoring nowadays on a station. But Carrie Coogan left the radio job she fled too after leaving a local news station and Krista Klaus came back to KC from Tampa but works with the KC Busines Journal. She used to anchor at two channels in Kansas City and then anchored in Tampa Bay.

Lastly in recent years stations in Kansas City are hiring people from around the two state area of Missouri and Kansas.

So Jeanene Kiesling came from Wichita and Lindsey Shively from Topeka among others.

Sophia Wharton was from Topeka. But then was let go from KCTV. Then she was also fired from the Topeka channel she headed back to.

Then we have new morning anchor Diane Cho who is getting rave reviews as she replaced Surae Chin, I think. Two women of oriental background left KC so I get confused. ne was anchoring at KMBC and the other was at KCTV5.

Of note the other night Kelly Eckerman and Laura Moritz anchored together for the first time or if they had before, in a long time. Looked good the pair of longtime anchors on KMBC.

Well that is about it. People come and go from KC. I saw Barbara Porter doing commercials on tv recently. She used to anchor at KCTV 5. Former KCTV 5 anchor Dee Griffin was let go from a Memphis station last year.

So that is that. But if I had to pick one person I like in KC today in 2011 then it would be Katie Ferrell who just joined WDAF Fox 4 in June of 2011 or Macradee Aegerter who joined in July at WDAF. There is also Mary Pulley who anchors weekends at WDAF.

Either the list maker has opposition to weather readers or he’s a rightwingnut fanboy. Given the number of FUX Noise aryan whores on the list, especially the one with plastic surgery, I suspect it’s the latter.

IMHO, I would add two of Bianna’s ABC News colleagues – Tanya Rivero (current “World News Now” and “America This Morning” co-anchor), and Meg Oliver (correspondent and reporter, and the former anchor of CBS’ “Up To The Minute”).
