But Charlie has never shut down the Two and a Half Men set. Jon Cryer is well regarded in the world of sitcoms and acting as a man who makes everyone in a scene with better. He’s also on a show that gets upwards of about 17 million viewers. So it’s weird that someone would hate him enough to shut his set down.
The set of Two and A Half Men was shut down after Jon Cryer received threats from an anonymous source. This clearly can’t be a terrorist cell. They would attack somebody more notable and liable to cause consternation. Conceivably, unless they were the worst terrorist cell in the world, attacking sitcom actors. That’s not a bad idea. Guess what I’m going to be inventing? A terrorist cell that only attacks sitcom actors. Just sneak up on Bronson Pinchot in a cafe and terrify the hell out of them.
