Why is this man still on the air? Can he do anything besides troll people in real life? Does Pat Robertson serve any sort of higher purpose? What sort of things does he contribute to the greater good?
The death tolls from the Haiti earthquake may top 100,000. That’s 100,000 lives lost. That’s an unimaginable tragedy, one of the worst in modern history. So how does Pat Robertson explain it? That people in Haiti made a deal with the devil. While under the rule of Napoleon the third, which is why Haiti is completely poverty-stricken, and the Dominican Republic has been prosperous. Because they were cursed by the devil.
What the fuck has Pat Robertson ever done for the world? Pat Robertson claimed 9/11 happened because of feminists, that Haiti was attacked because they struck a deal with the devil, and what does Pat Robertson plan on doing?
He plans on praying for them. You can do better. Raise money. Donate some to Unicef, yelehaiti, Doctors Without Borders, and any other organization that takes it. It doesn’t have to be a lot, I’m donating the proceeds from this article.
Also, seriously, somebody pull Pat Robertson off the air. He’s never made sense to begin with. Blaming natural disasters on a population because they made a deal with what most likely is an imaginary figure is insanity. There’s no reason this man should have an audience.
