10 Pictures of Animals Kicking Our Asses

By Jeff Wysaski on January 12th, 2010

I think it’s fair to say that animals are stupider than us. I mean, how many of us haven’t trounced an orangutan in a rousing game of Trivial Pursuit? And thinking back, how many times have you ever witnessed Alex Trebek congratulating a horse for winning a round of Jeopardy (not many). Also, look around any college campus, and you’ll find a suspiciously low number of dogs and cats sitting in your classrooms (though a handful have earned college degrees).

But just because the animal kingdom is filled with a bunch of low-IQ imbeciles, that doesn’t mean that us humans can simply sit atop the food chain and laugh at all those snakes, hippos and sharks for not knowing the capital of Montana. (Helena, you manatee.)

You see, much like the stupid kid in your elementary class that turned to bullying to overcompensate for his low reading comprehension, animals are smart enough to know when to fight back. And, as it turns out, when animals attack humans, no amount of reasoning will stop them from totally wailing on our soft, pudgy body frames. As evidence of man’s inability to completely dominate the rest of the animal kingdom, here are 10 pictures of animals kicking our asses:
