If there’s one thing that I love, it’s ridiculous statements given by politicians. Because we elect them to positions of power. And then they turn out to be just … gaping, wide-open, transparent idiots. Such as Rudy Giuliani. Who claimed that there never was a terror attack domestically when George W. Bush was president.
Rudy Giuliani. Yes, the mayor of New York, who won accolades with his actions in the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy, claimed that no terror attacks happened when George W. Bush was president. Other than the one that the political right has been using for the entire last decade. Other than the one that’s influenced countless bad foreign policy decisions.
Which begs the question, where has Rudy Giuliani been hiding recently? Was it in a shack out in the desert? Was the shack not in a desert, and instead underwater, so he didn’t have to hear news of the outside world, and he could socialize with the animals? Will Rudy Giuliani come back and make more outrageous claims, like the moon doesn’t exist and the equator is a liberal conspiracy?
Lord, I hope so. There’s nothing better than a crazy politician, provided they never get into a place where they can actually directly influence our lives.

Rudy Giuliani Claims No Terror Attacks Happened When George W. Bush Was President. What? Was 9/11 a square dance? The proposition should be stated more succinctly. For instance, “no successful terrorist attacks were committed against the U.S. AFTER the 9/11 hijackings and terrorist plane crashes were successfully completed against the U.S.”
“…provided they never get into a place where they can actually directly influence our lives.”
Please, please tell me that was also supposed to be a joke?
