Now You Can Write In The Shower

By Mark Lorenz on January 9th, 2010

Are you completely insane? Do your best ideas come when you’re lathering your body up with a variety of oils, and soaps? I sympathize. Completely.

Do you wish you could write underwater, like a low-rent Aquaman? There is help for you. Not too much help, but just enough for what you need.

You should probably be thanking Aqua Notes. They have invented a notepad that you can write underwater with. If you’re a writer who hates showers and loves scribbling down new ideas, no matter how awkward the situation might be, this is the invention for you. It’s a little known fact, but all great works of fiction — Sarah Palin’s Autobiography, the screenplay to Austin Powers, and The Road — were all written in the shower. (None of that was true. Except for Austin Powers.)

So what are you waiting for? Buy a pen. Get to scribbling. Get to getting real clean, and leaving your dirty thoughts on the page. Write a treatise on the value of having Axe Body Wash, or a haiku about the eight women whom you hope will scrub you down on the weekends. Something of that nature.

Or, if you’re creative, and awesome, you could leave filthy messages/death threats for your significant other and hope that they’re not discovered by the maid.
