China Cracks Down On Internet Porn

You know what’s hilarious? Somebody found this article searching for Chinese porn.

Today will be a day of sadness. A day for reflection and pause. A day where we think about where we are in life, and weep for the unfortunate. China has decided to crack down on internet porn. They’re cracking down hardcore on hardcore.

Which is strange, because China has numerous human rights violations. They violate human rights in every single hole they can find. Then spray them down…I’ll stop.

To be fair, I think it’s good thing they’re cracking down on pornography distributors because they can sometimes be tied up in other illegal activities … wait, what? They’re just cracking down on access to porn websites? And are arresting people who maintain them?

Yes. That seems fair.

Chinese authorities are offering a reward of 10,000 yuan – about 1500 dollars – to anyone that reports websites that feature pornography. Hey, China. Come find me. I’m worth about as much as Warren Buffet to you.

5,934 people were arrested last year. For being involved with pornography websites. Under the guise of threatening the emotional health of children.

Which means this conversation happened. “EVERYBODY. We must ban pornography.” – “Why?” – “The children. Think of what it will do to the children. Pornography will damage our children irreparably!”

Think of the children. THE CHILDREN.
