It’s official. Charlie Sheen is out of his mind. Despite having the #1 sitcom on television, he couldn’t tone down his psychosis and sense of privilege he’s been cultivating since the 80’s. The 911 call his wife made has been released, and supposedly, he threatened to kill her. With a knife.
We bag on Chris Brown a lot here at Manolith for being a complete idiot, unable to comprehend the gravity of what he did and the fact that he can’t write a song to save his life. But at least in the situation with Rhianna, he didn’t threaten her with a knife. That’s beyond domestic violence, and bordering on attempted murder.
What’s even worse is that Two and A Half Men is still on the air. I’m not saying the show is worse than one human threatening to kill another human, but still. It’s a family-oriented sitcom. A family oriented sitcom. Starring a deranged, drug-consuming, knife-wielding, hooker-violating Charlie Sheen. Odd facts about the case: his wife was drunk in the morning when she made the call. I’d say that was suspicious, but she’s married to Charlie Sheen. I would have to be liquored up. The night before, they went out with people designated to help keep them sober. And family supposedly warned them not to go to Aspen.
So I’ll warn you, readers. Don’t go to Aspen. Aspen is populated by people who are gigantic asses, and good powder can never compensate for that. If the allegations are true, here’s hoping that Sheen won’t get a–what is this?–sixth chance?
He does have a convict face, though.
