If you haven’t yet partaken in Jersey Shore, I suggest you do so now. Go to MTV, go to shows, and watch it stream online. Because it’s like a fine wine, that has been dipped in bacon, then set on fire. A glorious, beautiful train-wreck that you can’t look away from. And center to that train-wreck? Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. Who was apparently, a male stripper.
TMZ broke the story, and though the mainstream press doesn’t like to admit it, they’re often right about scandals. Which this would be, if more than teens and twenty-somethings knew who the hell Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is.
For those of you out of the loop, “The Situation” is named that way, because he says his abs are so ripped up, it’s “A Situation”. Which makes him “The Situation”. He’s been on the late-night talk show circuit plugging the hell out of the show, and basically is every bit as trashy as you’d expect him to be as a guy who calls himself “The Situation”. He takes himself very seriously.
Only one problem: he was a male stripper. I would be unable to take myself seriously if I were a male stripper. Perhaps if I were a gigolo, I could maintain a bit of credibility. Sorrentino danced with the “All American Male” revue.
