Oasis To Release First Album Sans Noel Gallagher

Oasis-1What the fook? You jest take the fookin’ album and play your fookin’ geetar, and you have some fookin’ music.

Oasis, everyone’s foul-mouthed by turns hard and soft rocking Manchester band, has hit some roadblocks this year. Mainly the one they always hit. That they’re two perpetually angry brothers, constantly fighting with each other. This caused the band to break up right before a concert, canceling all dates in the future, and effectively breaking up the band. But Liam Gallagher has never been the kind to just stand around and do nothing, so he’s proceeding forward with the Oasis brand name. He’s even anticipating to release an album before the summer.

“I’d like to have a record out by July next year. We’ve already done about three songs and they’re fucking sounding amazing.”

Personally, I love Oasis. I don’t care if they sound like a bloated Beatles cover-band, no band ruled the ’90s like they did. And if you put on “Champagne Supernova” at a bar, I dare you to find someone who doesn’t want to sing along.

But I have no idea what Oasis’ll sound like without Noel Gallagher. It’ll probably just sound bloated, minus the Beatles. So, like John Lennon in 1972. Still, if the options are between that, and Lil’ Wayne’s rock album, sign me up.
