MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is one of the trashiest shows I’ve ever seen. Not because the contestants are trashy, but because the whole concept, execution, and appearance of the show is trashy. It’s like a train-wreck three-way, where the trains don’t realize they’re killing each people, they just keep wanting to rub against each other. But the trashiest scene is being cut.

The show is no stranger to controversy, as the Anti-Italian Defamation League is already up in arms with their liberal use of the word guido. Man, if there’s one organization I wouldn’t want to piss off, it’d be the Italian Defamation League. I bet they’ll crack your legs in suits. Oh wait, they’re against that? Lame.

So the show is a massive trainwreck, but not nearly as massive as what apparently happens in Jersey clubs. Brad Ferro, a teacher at North Queens Community High, apparently was drunk and stealing drinks that belonged to the “Jersey Shore” cast. So the cast started hassling him. Namely, the tiniest, most annoying member of the house, Snooki, started hassling him. Snooki started berating him, and he decided to punch her, hard, which is assault. He was booked, charged, and put on leave from his school. That’s gotta be a hostile environment to work in. With a bunch of kids, who’ve seen you punch an MTV cast member.

Anyway, MTV pulled the scene, reprimanding everyone for not being paragons of virtue, like they are.

“After hearing from our viewers, further consulting with experts on the issue of violence, and seeing how the video footage has been taken out of context to not show the severity of this act or the resulting consequences, MTV has decided not to air “Snooki” being physically punched in next week’s episode.”
