Nude photos of Disney actress and former singer Adrienne Bailon leaked on the Internet today after her “laptop was stolen.” Rumors are circulating that the pictures were intended for her (ex) boyfriend Rob Kardashian (brother to Kim, Kourtney, and… I forgot the other one’s name).
Could this be another ploy for super fast fame? Leaked photos, sextapes, it seems like this is the new claim to fame for a lot of these young actresses. The only problem is this fame doesn’t last and your image is thrashed.
This isn’t the first time a Disney star has had naked images appear on the web. We all remember Vanessa Hudgens and her full body shots. If this was indeed an accident, I’d recommend that everyone with nude photos on their computer password protect them!
This happened a few months ago to her, with the same photo. Definitely a publicity attempt.
Actually it happened a year ago.
“In November 2008, nude photographs of Bailon ended up circulating over the Internet, taken for Kardashian on a laptop computer which Bailon has said was stolen while she was coming off a flight at New York’s JFK Airport. The pictures were at first reported to be held for ransom as part of an extortion plot for $1,000, and were later leaked out.[6] At the time, Bailon and her authorized publicist stated publicly that they would seek damages from whoever stole the computer and leaked the photos.”
not a big fan of the ‘blame the victim’ mentality that always rears its ugly head in these kinds of stories. as you’ve noted yourself, this sort of leak hardly benefits a young lady’s career — especially now, in 2009, when it seems to happen once a month.
plus, it has to be mortifying and embarrassing for the girl in question. but yeah, let’s blame the victim. she was probably asking for it.
