Cam-Gun-1Ideally, cameras are something you point at each other to take pictures and document moments in history. Good times. Times that you can look back on fondly with people that you care about. Guns are things that create memories you want to forget and blood and explosions. And somebody decided to fuse them together. And we called it America.

In an idea that’s a cop shooting waiting to happen, Aimat has released a prototype gun-shaped camera. It’s small and plastic, and cannot be easily identified several hundred feet away. You point it at people, and pull the trigger, and hope you won’t become an example for semioticians everywhere. What situations would be the best to use a gun camera at? I’m glad you asked.

Family Reunions

Because they could be easily mistaken for the real thing. Or not. Which is why you could bring the real thing, then have everyone pose for a picture, and suddenly gain an inheritance.

The Senior Picnic

Find out how fast the track team really does run.

Mugshots At Police Stations

Confessions would be that much easier.

The DMV

It’s hard to get a good picture on your driver’s license. Might as well make it the worst one possible.

Look for their other products, the bazooka-shaped kitten shooter, and the knife-shaped dildo, hitting the markets soon.
