15 Sexiest Ad Campaigns (NSFW)

There is no shortage of ads that use sex appeal to sell products; it’s something we’re all so used to by now that it can be said to be a part of everyday life. That being said, there are extraordinary achievements in the advertisement business every year, and some of those are ads that are, literally, too sexy. Those are the ads that we really want to see, and those are the ads we’re talking about today. These are the 15 sexiest ad campaigns we could find; some were banned, some not quite, but all are winners in our book.

Guinness – Share One With a Friend (or Two)

We kick this list off with the raunchiest ad we could find, because regardless of how distasteful you may find it, it does its job well. This ad is so sexual, that even people who hate it can’t stop watching — and find their minds wandering pretty quickly. Guinness certainly knew what they were doing when they made this one.

The Heineken Draughtkeg Fembot

Is she real? Nobody could ever really figure out the Heineken Draughtkeg Fembot when she hit the airwaves back in 2007, but the ad was an instant success. Every time the commercial aired, all who were caught in front of the TV at the time were mesmerized by the young, gorgeous, and painted Rika Yang as she danced her robotic dance of beer-love. Rika’s definitely real, too — check out her photo stream.

PETA – Go Vegetarian

PETA’s gone through a lot of advertising ideas over the years, but none has paid off nearly so well as their more recent, always controversial, extremely sexy naked ads. In this one, touting the glory of vegetarianism, we get to see a very hot Alicia Silverstone laid bare.

Erin Esurance

Granted, Esurance has never, and probably never will, allow their cartoon heroin, Erin, to be aired without her skin-tight leather suits or leotards, but the very fact that pictures like this exist goes to show her sex appeal. You can bet the company knows full well, too, since she’s usually credited with bringing the company the lion’s share of its business. Animation’s a great thing.

The Dirty Axe Girls

Whether the commercials come off as sleazy to you or not, there’s just no denying the sexiness of the dirty Axe girls. The TV spots make us laugh, but the print ads don’t have the time to waste on kitschy frat-boy humor — they go straight for the raw sex appeal.

The Hooters Girls

Hooters Girls, by and large, are one of the single most expansive advertising successes any restaurant chain has ever enjoyed. There’s just something about that not quite at a strip club feel that a man gets when he walks into a Hooters, the way the girls are so neighborly when wearing that spandex outfit they all stuff themselves into — it just plain works.

Mia – Seamless Lingerie

Shopping for your wife or girlfriend doesn’t have to be a painful experience. Mia Lingerie sees to that in ways that Victoria’s Secret should take serious note of with their Seamless line of unmentionables. The ad itself caused a few waves — apparently some people have a problem with not seeing a girl’s nipples.

Organ Donation

Taking cues from PETA’s considerable success in their ad campaigns, the Organ Donor Foundation let loose this ad in Europe. The girl’s indisputably hot, but the real fun is in watching the reactions of men as they view the ad. Try it yourself; at least one of your friends will declare that he would have no difficulty in seducing the girl, and proceed to scoff at the foundation.

Semos – Photoshop Lessons

An unusually clever ad for something as dry as a class on software, Semos struck gold with Photoshop Lessons. First reactions are generally the same with this one — it always gets a laugh — but even then most of us can’t get ourselves to look away after the initial chuckle.

LoveMachine Condoms

Much like the Guinness ad, this spot can be seen as a bit too crass by the prudes in the room. Considering the fact that it’s advertising condoms, it’s really not so bad, and it’s beautiful. The joke is clever as hell, too. Sudoku, anyone?

The BK Super Seven Incher

Burger King caught a load of flak when this ad began appearing in all the wrong places earlier this year. Women everywhere were unhinged with rage at the sight of the ad, while men couldn’t stop giggling (and staring). It didn’t sell many Super Seven Incher sandwiches, but it got more eyeballs looking at Burger King than they probably anticipated. It was pulled pretty quickly too, but lucky for us, the Internet never forgets.

Cabana Cachaca Rum

While it’s nothing new for a liquor company to use sex to sell more booze, Cabana Cachaca scored a real winner with this line of ads. There are several different versions of the ad, all with what appear to be the same perfect model, and all exploring some very wonderful camera angles. This one’s particularly nice, and it’s even nicer in its uncropped form.

Carls Jr. – Padma

When the Padma ad first ran, many assumed it would just be another of a long line of pretentious ads about a fast-food establishment somehow thinking that it transcends the boundaries of fast food. We were all surprised then to see what is probably Carl’s Jr.’s sexiest ad ever run, considering the fact that nobody actually finds Paris Hilton sexy.

Levi’s – Live Unbuttoned

There are several words that come to mind for the behavior exhibited in this commercial, which aired last year, and none of them are good ones. That doesn’t stop the ad from being ridiculously sexy, and — love it or hate it — you can’t stop watching it. The girl chosen for the ad has that I love Interpol and smoke American Spirits charm, and the fact that she’s hooking up with some guy she doesn’t know — in some random family’s apartment — just doesn’t detract enough from that to make her any less sexy.

Calvin Klein – Secret Obsession

15

Eva Mendes seemed intent on making a name for herself when she signed up for Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsessions ad campaign. Nearly every ad in the series has been effectively banned, but since all exists eternal and without borders on the Internet, we have the pleasure, the luxury, of seeing them still today. This ad in particular is quick to pique a viewer’s interest — see for yourself.
